University of Madras Announces PhD Admission January 2021 ! 74 departments and affiliated colleges
Chennai, 12 December 2021: University of Madras, a public state university in Chennai, has released PhD admission notification for January 2022 session.
PhD Programmes are offered in various departments of the University, Colleges affiliated to University and recognized research institutions for the academics session 2021 (July). The PhD programmes are offered in more than74 departments of the university. Both PhD (Full-Time) and PhD (Part-Time) are available.
Key Dates & Application Fee: University of Madras informed that the online application designed for the January 2022 session alone will be accepted and other applications will not be considered for admission under any circumstances.
The closing date for submission of application is 31 December 2021.
Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla Announces PhD Admission Spring 2022
Sambalpur, Odisha, 19 December 2021: Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, formerly known as the University College of Engineering, Burla, Odisha, has invited applications for admission into PhD Programme for Spring 2022 Semester.

Dibrugarh University Announces PhD Admission 2021 via DURAT
Dibrugarh, 19 December 2021: Dibrugarh University, a state university in Assam, has announced Admission for PhD Programmes 2021.
Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test(DURAT),2021(Phase I, Written Test) is scheduled on 08 January 2022 (10:30 a.nn” to 01:30 p.m).
Eligibility Conditions:
A candidate intending to appear in the DURAT 2021 for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) shall have to obtain at least 55% marks in OR equivalent grade point in the Master’s Degree, in which he/ she intends to appear in the DURAT.
A relaxation upto 05% marks or an equivalent relaxation of grade in the qualifying degree is allowed for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and Differently-abled category.
DURAT is exempted for CSIR-NET (both LS and JRF), UGC-NET (both LS and JRF), ‘SLET/SET (NE Region), GATE, GPAT, M.Phil (in regular mode and in the concerned subject), and Teacher Fellowship holder.

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women Opens PhD Admission Winter 2021 for 47 Seats
New Delhi, 16 December 2021: Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), a Technical State University exclusively for Women in Delhi, announced PhD Admission for Winter session of 2021-22.

An applicant shall be eligible for Junior Research Fellowship instituted by
IGDTUW provided she fulfils the following conditions:
1) She possesses the minimum eligibility qualifications
2) She has qualified UGC-CSIR-JRF/NET examination or qualified GATE with a score of the minimum cut off or has qualified Research Aptitude Test (RAT) examination. A person who has appeared in the above examinations but is awaiting results may also apply. However, she shall b documentary evidence of having qualified the examination at the time of interview.
3) She is not receiving any financial assistance from any other sources.
