IIM Ranchi has announced a transformative collaboration with the Sidho Kanho Agriculture and Forest Produce State Co-Operative Federation Limited (SIDHKOFED) to significantly enhance Jharkhand’s cooperative sector. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed today at SAMETI Bhawan, represents a strategic initiative aimed at revitalizing the state’s cooperative framework.

IIM Ranchi, a premier management institute known for its academic excellence and research-driven approach, will provide expert advisory services to SIDHKOFED. Established with a mission to develop managerial talent and foster innovative research, IIM Ranchi brings a wealth of expertise in market development, capacity building, and product branding.

SIDHKOFED, a key organization in Jharkhand’s cooperative sector, is dedicated to supporting local agriculture and forest produce cooperatives. Its goal is to strengthen the cooperative structure, ensuring that local farmers and producers benefit from improved market access and enhanced operational capabilities.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Singh, Secretary of SIDHKOFED, and Prof.  Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director IIM Ranchi. This strategic partnership aims to transform Jharkhand’s cooperative landscape by equipping cooperatives with the necessary tools for sustainable growth and competitive market presence. The collaboration is set to bolster regional economic development and support the welfare of local producers.
