New Delhi, 23 September 2017: The recruitment of teaching staff in universities, institutes and technical education institutes goes in accordance with the UGC, AICTE or Ministry of HRD guidelines and norms. The salary package, allowances and other related benefits also prescribed by these guidelines or regulations. Hence, career in faculty positions in higher educational institutes has bright prospects.
There are more than 13 universities or institutes where recruitment window is open where eligible applicants can apply for teaching positions. Among these institutes seven are NITs, two are IITs and others are general universities.
Lucknow University, Allahabad University (Central University), Gorakhpur University and Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra have released recruitment notification for appointing faculty positions. Allahabad University has informed that the vacancy positions published by Advertisement No UoA/Prof/01/2017 (Date 11 April 2017) have been modified following Honourable Allahabad High Court order. The university also informed that candidates who had earlier applied against the Advt No UoA/Prof/01/2017 (Date 11 April 2017) are exempt of fee payment but they have re-apply again by On-Line mode.

Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur has vacant posts of 282. Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar is recruiting for 185 posts.
