Chennai, 18 August 2020: Round D, the 9th Round, of Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2020 is completed. Ten IITs and IISc Bangalore have completed their MTech admissions. Remaining 11 participating institutes or IITs, will participate Round E or 10th Round.

COAP provides a common platform for the registered candidates to make the most preferred choice for admission into an MTech in participating institutes such as IITs.

COAP has announced Additional Round E and released Round E offers today. The closing date for accepting Round E offers is 19 August 2020 – 10 AM. Round E is a Decisive Round, therefore the candidates will have the following two options: Accept and Freeze; Reject and Wait (Reject).

COAP portal informed that due to completion of their admissions / lack of vacant seats, the following Institutes will not participate in Round E:

♦ IISc Bangalore

♦ IIT Bhilai

♦ IIT Bombay

♦ IIT BHU

♦ IIT Delhi

♦ IIT Indore

♦ IIT ISM Dhanbad

♦ IIT Jodhpur

♦ IIT Kanpur

♦ IIT Kharagpur

♦ IIT Roorkee

Meanwhile, IIT Guwahati has announced schedule for Online Spot Admission for Vacant MTech Seats.  IIT Guwahati  will conduct Online Spot Admission  from 21 to 25 August 2020 (tentative). The institute informed that vacant seats and more Details will be available by 20 August 2020.

In the coming days, IITs, where vacant MTech seats are available, will declare their Online Spot Admission for Vacant MTech Seats for AY 2020-21.
