Dharamshala: Central University of Himachal Pradesh invites applications from the eligible candidates for Entrance Test for PhD Programmes of Study 2019-20. The total number PhD seats are available .. across 24 departments.
Key Dates: The online portal/link for filling out application forms shall be open w. e. f. 08 January 2020 on the university website and the last date to apply online 25 January 2020.
Minimum Eligibility:
To be eligible, the applicant must have qualified any of the following:
(i) UGC-NET (including JRF)
(ii) UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)
(iii) ICAR-NET (including JRF)
(iv) SLET
(v) GATE
(vi) Teacher Fellowship Holder
(vii) M.Phil
(viii) Himachal Pradesh Kendriya Vishwavidyalaya Shodh Patrata Pariksha (HPKVSPP)
Selection Procedure: Eligible applicants shall have to qualify Entrance test to be conducted by the university, with at least 50% marks to qualify for Personal Interview (PI). The syllabus for the Entrance test shall be 50% research methodology and 50% subject specific.
The Central University of Himachal Pradesh is a public funded university and follows Government of India Reservation Policy.
