New Delhi, 11 Jan 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts UGC-NET and Joint UGC-CSIR NET examinations twice in a year. The NTA has already conducted UGC NET and CSIR NET in December 2019.
UGC NET June 2020 Exam: The Next UGC –NET examination will be held from 15 to 20 June 2020. The application window will remain open from 16 March to 16 April 2020. The results will be declared on 05 July 2020. The NTA has declared the schedule of the exam via its Exam Schedule calendar.
Joint UGC-CSIR NET June 2020: The Next CSIR- UGC NET examination will be held on 21 June 2020 (Sunday). The application window will remain open from 15 March to 15 April 2020. The results will be declared on 05 July 2020. The NTA has declared the schedule of the exam via its Exam Schedule calendar.
Meanwhile in UGC-NET December 2020 exam, Out of 7.93 Lakh appeared candidates, more than 60,000 qualified for for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. The qualifying rate for eligibility for Assistant Professor was 7.6%, means out 100 candidates appeared the test, only 7.6 candidates qualified the test.
The UGC-NET December 2019 Examination was conducted by NTA between 02nd and 06th December 2019 in two shifts per day in700 centres across 219 cities in the country. The examination was conducted in 81 subjects.
NTA has informed that the Score Card/Result of CSIR-NET December 2019 is likely to be displayed by 14 January 2020. Earlier, NTA has planned to declare results on 31 December 2019. However, in Assam and Meghalaya, the test was conducted in a separate date (27 December 2019). Hence, the declaration of results is being delayed.
The Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 15 December 2019 and 27 December 2019 ( In Assam and Meghalaya) in which 2,25,889 candidates appeared out of 2,82,117 registered.
