Guwahati, Assam: Gauhati University  has invited online applications from eligible candidates for MPhil/ PhD Programme for  Autumn Session (2018-19). The PhD Admission is available in more than 50 subjects/departments.

Key Dates: The online application will close on  10 June 2018; The Date of Examination (Gauhati University – Research Entrance Test) is 30 June 2018.

Exemption from GU-RET: Recipient of CSIR/UGC-JRF, ICMR-JRF, ICAR-JRF, and DBT-JRF are exempted from appearing in the GU-RET. Eligible International Students are also exempted from appearing in the GU-RET. The final admission of exempted applicants into the M.Phil./Ph.D. programme will be limited to a maximum of 50% (fifty percent) of total admitted applicants in any discipline in any academic year.
