Goa, 14 March 2022: Goa University, a state university in Goa, has announced Admissions to the PhD Programe March 2022. The total number of seats are 321.
Total Number PhD Vacant Seats: The total number of tentative vacant PhD Seats are 321.
Key Dates:
Commencement of online applications – 08 March 2022
Last Date for applying online – 25 March 2022
Conduct of Interview -11 to 13 April 2022
Application Fee: For General Category/OBC/EWS candidates, the application fee is Rs. 600/- . For SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 300/- .
Eligibility Conditions:
(a) Candidates who have qualified in the Examinations of apex bodies such as CSIR-UGC/UGC NET JRF/lectureship, SET/SLET/JEST/ICAR-NET Examination of different Indian States/ GATE with a valid certificate, those having DST Inspire fellowship, or those awarded M.Phil. Degree as per the UGC Guidelines.
Students who have completed M. Phil by distance mode are not eligible.
(b) All the candidates who have qualified in the Goa University Ph.D. Entrance Test (GU-PET)
conducted by this University held in the month of December 2020 and August 2021.
(c) Senior Citizens who are otherwise qualified but exempted from appearing at Ph.D. Entrance
Test. However they will not be issued an Equivalence Certificate.
