New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), the world’s largest open university, has invited online applications from the eligible candidates, Assistant Professor.  These positions are available in the Academic Level 10 of 7thCentral Pay Commission Rs. 57,700/-1,82,400/-, in various Schools of Studies of IGNOU.

The total number of vacant posts are 51. The vacant posts are available in 12 departments/schools of the University.

Key Dates: The online portal has opened from 18 September 2019. The last date for submission of online application is 20 October 2019 or 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News, whichever is later.

Eligibility conditions: The Minimum eligibility conditions shall be as per University Grants Commission Regulations 2018 and wherever required norms of concerned Regulatory bodies like NCTE, MCI etc.

Age of superannuation and maximum age limit: 65 years as per UGC Regulations 2018.
