Gandhinagar: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Vadodara, an Institute of National Importance under Ministry of HRD, has released PhD Admission notification for Autumn 2020-21. Teaching/Research Assistantship benefits are available for research scholars.
Applications are invited for admission to PhD Programme (Autumn 2020-2021) in the following specialization areas:
IoT, 5G communications, Wireless Communication Network, Embedded Systems
Computer vision, Signal processing, Machine Learning, Data Science
Information and Network Security, Cloud Security, Distributed Systems, Computer Networks, Game Theory, Blockchain
VLSI designs, Embedded System Design, Hardware Security, Computer Architecture, Approximate Computing
Key Date & Application Fee: The closing date for submission of application is extended to 03 July 2020. Application fee is Rs 500 /-.

Date of Online Interview Process – 13 July 2020
Financial Assistance: INR 31000/- at the time of Admission to PhD programme is given for Teaching Assistance ship. The same will be increased to INR 35000/- after passing of comprehensive exams but not earlier than 2 years.

First class in M.Tech./ME in CS/IT/ECE or related areas, OR
First class in M.Sc. Applied Mathematics/Computer Science and related areas, OR
Exceptional candidates with more than 8.00 CPI on scale of 10 in B.E/B.Tech. in relevant areas may also be considered.
NOTE: The candidates appearing for the final semester/year examinations of the qualifying degree in 2020 may also apply to the respective programs. The admission is subject to the condition that, if admitted, they should submit a provisional degree certificate or any other proof of completion of requirements for the award of the degree.
