Bangalore, 04 February 2020: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, India’s top ranked Research University, has already announced Admission 2020 for Post Graduate and Research Programmes.  These programmes include: Research Programmes [Ph D / MTech (Research)] (2) Course Programmes [M Tech/M Des/M Mgt], (3) Integrated PhD Programmes, and also to (4) Ph D under External Registration Programmes.

A large number of candidates apply for various proframmes offered by IISc Bangalore. The institute  provides attractive scholarships with topnotch facility and lab.

The total number of Faculty Members and Scientific Staff on roll as on 28th March, 2019 is 515. The total numbers students enrolled in various courses are 4118 during 2028.

Total Students Enrolled as on 2018:

Msc (Eng)/Mtech (Res) –              240

Other Master’s programmes      -649

BSc (Research) –               501

IISc  Bangalore has not officially declared the course wise vacant seats for 2020-21 academic year. The Last date for online submission of applications is 23 March 2020 for Admission 2020.

Scholarships: All the regular students (except M.Mgt) who join the Institute are eligible for scholarship from MHRD / CSIR / UGC/ ICMR / DBT / DST/ AICTE / DAE (NBHM) depending upon their mode of entry. Scholarships from many Indian and multinational agencies, and business houses are also available for meritorious students.
