Mumbai: IIT Bombay has announced the schedule and examination details for Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) 2018.  CEED 2018 will be conducted by IIT Bombay on 20 January 2018 (Saturday) from 10:00 to 13:00 hours. The registration form will be available on 09 October  2017 at 5 pm.

CEED qualified students are eligible to apply for the MDes and PhD programmes in various institutes. It is a qualifying examination for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIT Kanpur, and to PhD programmes in Design at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Kanpur. The CEED 2018 score is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result.

The exam will be held in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Trissur and Vishakhapatnam

Key Dates: Online registration with regular fee October 9 to November 10, 2017

Online registration with late fee November 11 to 17, 2017

The date of CEED 2018 examination is January 20, 2018 (Saturday).

Eligibility Conditions:

Candidates must have passed a degree / diploma / post graduate degree programme of 4 years or 3+2 years (after 10+2 level), or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2018, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2017. Before applying for CEED, candidates are advised to check whether they meet the required eligibility criteria for admission to various institutes.

There is no age limit to appear for CEED. Besides, a candidate can appear for CEED any number of times.

How to Registration and Application Fee:   Candidates should submit application form online only through the official website, www.ceed.iitb.ac.in

Registration fee:

 Rs. 1,100 for all women candidates

Rs. 1,100 for (SC / ST / PwD) candidates

 Rs. 2,200 for all other candidates
