Kukatpally, Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad invites applications for admission to Part-Time (Externally registered scholars) PhD / MS research programs in the faculties of Engineering, Science & Technology, Management Science at JNT University Hyderabad. The total number of vacant seats is 244.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 16 November 2017 by 5.00 pm without fine and with a fine of Rs.1000/- upto 22 November 2017 by 5.00 pm. The application fee is Rs Rs.1000/- .
Employment: Candidates who are working in a well equipped educational / scientific / R&D / industrial / Governmental Organizations and in colleges affiliated to the Universities and engaged in Scientific / Technological / Engineering / Managerial activities, as the case may be are eligible to apply for part-time PhD/MS program. The candidate shall continue to work in the organization. Candidates working in colleges affiliated to the Universities are eligible apply provided the place of research work is either the institution in which they are working or the constituent college / unit of the university, where necessary facilities are available.

Eligibility Conditions:
For Engineering
BTech and MTech in appropriate / relevant branch of Engineering
Science & Technology
MSc or MSc(Tech) in appropriate / relevant field of Science & Technology
For Pharmacy: B Pharmacy and MPharmacy or Pharma D
Management Science: Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Candidates must have Post Graduate Degree in concerned discipline with a minimum of 55 % of marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam as per above eligibility. For SC / ST / BC candidates the aggregate shall be 50% as per UGC-2016 guidelines.
For MS:
Candidates must have a BE/ BTech / BPharmacy degree or its equivalent with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the respective qualifying exam. For SC / ST / BC candidate it shall be 50% marks in aggregate. MS is essentially a research program for candidates in service. It is not a regular session based MTech course.
