Chennai: In a major surprise for IIT-JEE aspirants for 2018, the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018 will be held online. The Apex Body for conduct of JEE (Advanced), at its meeting today (20 August 2017), has decided that JEE (Adv) will be conducted in online mode from 2018 onwards. It appears that many surprises are stored for IIT-JEE aspirants for 2018.
With reference to the Joint Admission Board (JAB) meeting held at Indian Institute of Technology Madras today (20 Aug 2017), Prof. Bhaskar Ramamurthi, Director, Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Chairman, Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2017, has stated “The Apex Body for conduct of JEE (Advanced), at its meeting today (20 August 2017), has decided that JEE (Adv) will be conducted in online mode from 2018 onwards. Further information regarding the examination will be provided by the JAB in due course.”
Details on features of the online test are now available at this moment as Joint Admission Board (JAB) has not disclosed more on the test for 2018.
