New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), India’s Top ranked university, has received a record number of applications, 22% higher than last year, for admission to various courses this year.
M Jagadesh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of JNU, informed via an Twitter Video that the university has received a record 135,462 applications for admission to UG, PG, MPhil & PhD and other courses for Academic year 2020-21.
The university had last year received 108,982 application for admissions to various courses including undergraduate, postgraduate, MPhil and PhD courses.
National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct online entrance exam , known as JNU Entrance Exam (JNUEE) 2020-21. This is the second time in a row, on behalf of JNU, the NTA is conducting Computer Based Test (CBT) entrance test.
Due to COVID 19 pandemic, JNUEE 2020-21 is being delayed. The NTA has not declared the revised Entrance Test Dates.
