Tadepalligudem, West Godavari: National Institute of Technology (NIT)) Andhra Pradesh, Tadepalligudem, is an Institute of National Importance, established in 2015. The institute invites applications from eligible candidates for full-time and part-time Ph.D. and M.S. (by Research) programs for various departments.

List of Departments where PhD Admission Available: Bio-Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Metallurgical & Materials Engineering., Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Management.

The following is the list of admission modes for Ph.D. and M.S. programmes:

PhD Full-Time – Stipendiary Category – Half Time Research Assistantship (HTRA) is available to full-time scholars who are admitted to Ph.D. programmes

Ph.D. (Full Time) – Project category

Part-Time (Externally sponsored)

Ph.D. (Part-Time)

M.S. (by Research)

Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. Programme in Engineering (Full-Time)

Candidates with a Master‟s degree in Engineering/Technology or a Master‟s degree by Research in Engineering/Technology in appropriate branches* with 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA of 6.5) either at UG or PG level examination under UR/EWS/OBC-NCL category. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, 55% aggregate (or above) marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 is essential either at UG or PG level. They should have qualified GATE or NET in the relevant disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. Programme in Sciences and Humanities (Full-Time)

Master‟s degree in Sciences/Humanities in relevant branch of Science/Humanities with 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA≥6.5/10) either at UG or PG level examination for admission under UR/EWS/OBC-NCL category. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, 55% aggregate (or above) marks or equivalent CGPA of ≥6.0 is essential either at UG or PG level. Candidates should have qualified GATE or UGC/CSIR-NET in relevant discipline.

Selection Procedure:

For PhD (Full-Time/ Part-Time) and M.S. (by Research):  Written Test and/or Interview

How to Apply & Application Fee: Application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PwD) for each programme/ department/ school/ discipline only through online mode.

The last date for submitting the online applications is 30 May 2020.
