New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA)  has announced Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE)-2020.

Jawaharlal Nehru University, the India’s top ranked university, will admit students for PhD, MPhil , MTech, MPH, Post Graduate, PG Diploma, Under Graduate, and Part-Time programmes via JNUEE 2020 for the academic year 2020-21.

Key Dates: The NTA will conduct the JNUEE – 2020 from 11 May 2020 to 14 May 2020 for admission to various courses. The candidates are required to apply online between 02 March 2020 to 31 March 2020 (5:00 p.m) and to pay application fees upto 31 March, 2020 (11:50 p.m).

The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.

Selection Procedure for Admission:

No viva voce examination is held for admission to any programme except for M.Phil and Ph.D. The candidates are admitted on merit on the basis of their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and the deprivation points added to their score in accordance with the approved admission Policy and Procedures of the University.

The candidates for admission to MPhil and PhD have to appear for Computer Based Test (CBT) and candidates qualifying with 50% marks for General Category and 45% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD category in the Computer Based Test (CBT) shall be called for viva voce Examination. It is to be noted that a candidate who scores 50% and above for General Category & 45% and above for SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/PWD in the computer based test, does not automatically qualify for being shortlisted for the viva-voce.

JRF qualified candidates shall be exempted from Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be shortlisted/called for viva-voce.
