New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA), an autonomous testing organization under Ministry of HRD, has been conducting the UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) from  December 2018. However, the certification of NET and award letter for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) qualification have been provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC). From going forward, the NTA will provide the NET and JRF certification.

The NTA has already displayed a link to get e-certification for the NET qualified candidates at its home page of the official website, nta.ac.in. Previously, these certifications are available at ugcnetonline.in.

The candidates who have qualified in UGC NET June 2019 can visit the official website of NTA NET to download the E-Certificate or JRF award letter.  Candidate can download the E-certificate using Application Number or Roll Number of UGC-NET June 2019 and Date of Birth.

The NTA stated that for any query related to JRF Award Letters/NET E-Certificates, e-mail to [email protected].

How to Get E-Certificate of UGC NET June 2019: To get the certificates, candidates will have to follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website, nta.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘E-certificate and JRF Award Letter for qualified candidates of UGC NET June 2019’

Step 3: A window will open, log-in using ‘application number/roll number’ and date of birth, Capta code, and finally click on proceed.

Roll Number is 10 Digit Alphanumeric Number.  Application Number is the 12 digit number.  Valid Date of Birth Format: dd-mm-yyyy.

The total number of candidates registered for June 2019 UGC NET were more than 9.4 Lakh (9,42,419). The total number of candidates appeared both papers were more than 6.8 Lakh (6,81,718).

Out of 6.8 Lakh appeared candidates, more than 50,000 qualified for for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. The qualifying rate for eligibility for Assistant Professor was 7.5%, means out 100 candidates appeared the test, only 7.5 candidates qualified the test.

In case of JRF, only more than 4.7 thousand (4,756) candidates, qualified. The pass rate was only 0.70, means out 100 candidates appeared the test, only less than one candidates qualified the test.
