New Delhi, 21 Oct 2019: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and University of Delhi two premier universities in India. A large number of students aspire to study at these two universities. Last year, the Entrance Tests for Admission into various programs of JNU and DU were conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), an autonomous organization under Ministry of HRD.

For the academic year 2020-21, the Admission Entrance Test for JNU and DU will be conducted by NTA.

Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) and Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) are most popular tests for candidates aspiring pursue higher education in UG, PG, MPhill and PhD Programs.

NTA has released the Exam Schedule Calendar for December 2019- June 2020 for all examinations to be conducted by it. As per the Calendar, NTA will conduct Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE)-2020 in May (11th to 14th) 2020 and Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET)-2020 in June (2nd to 9th June) 2020.

Registration Dates – 2nd to 31st March, 2020

Downloading of Admit Cards – 21st April, 2020

Dates of Examinations – 11th to 14th May, 2020

Date of Announcing Result – 31st May, 2020

 

Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET)-2020

Mode of Examination- Computer Based Examination

Registration Dates – 2nd to 31stMarch, 2020

Downloading of Admit Cards- 30th April, 2020

Dates of Examinations-  2nd to 9th June, 2020

Date of Announcing Result – 25th June, 2020

NTA in a press statement said that all examining bodies are requested to avoid these dates for conducting any Public Examination so that these examination dates do not clash and candidates do not face any inconvenience.

NTA has established a countrywide network of Test Practice Centres (TPCs) across India to familiarise aspiring students. All students have an opportunity to practice and have first-hand experience of taking “Computer Based Test (CBT)” before the exam. 4000 Schools/ engineering colleges with computer centres will be available on every Saturday/Sunday starting from 1st September, 2019 and more Schools/ engineering colleges with computer centres will be added in time to come. The candidates can choose the nearest TPC.
