Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department of Government of Odisha through Students Academy Management System announces Odisha’s common PG entrance test CPET-2020. CPET-2020 is compulsory for all the aspirants interested to take admission in the listed PG courses in the all public universities and colleges offering PG courses.
The notification mentioned that applicants desirous of admission into Post Graduate Courses of Public Universities and Colleges of the State during the Academic Year 2020-21 have to apply through online mode only.
Key Dates:
Availability of online Common Application Form (CAF) in the website www.samsodisha.gov.in 12-Aug-2020 (2:00 pm)
2) Last date of applying online CAF through www.samsodisha.gov.in 31-Aug-2020 (11:45 pm)
3) Available of Hall Ticket in applicant e-Space for downloading 20-Sept.-2020 (2:00 pm)
4) Commencement of Entrance Examination (CPET-2020) 30th Sept to 7th Oct-2020
5) Updation of Graduation/Equivalent mark by applicant till 10-Oct-2020 (11:45 pm)
Publication of State wide merit list 25-Oct-2020
Completion of Admission Process by the respective Universities and Colleges, offering PG teaching facility 20-Nov-2020
Commencement of PG 1st Year Classes 01-Dec-2020

Subjects shown in the same bullet point will share the same entrance examination. For
example, A & A Economics, Economics, Environmental Economics will have the same
entrance. Merit list will be prepared based on candidate’s choice indicated on the CAF.
Any other subject not covered in the above, the HEI is required to conduct its own
entrance examination and admission.
CPET 2020 is the common admission test for PG courses in State Public Universities, Government and Government Aided Colleges in the State of Odisha.
