Noida: Sharda University, a leading private university, has released PhD Admission Notification for January 2020. Both Full Time and Part Time PhD Admission are available.
Total seats: The total number of vacant seats are 231. The vacant PhD seats are available for 27 subjects across 12 schools.
Fellowships: Full-time eligible students are entitled for the monthly “Fellowship cum Assistantship” as per Sharda University rules.
Key Dates & How to apply: Applications are invited on prescribed application form only which can be filled online/collecting hard copy from University/downloading application and sending complete form along with the Demand Draft of Rs.1200/- (One Thousand Two Hundred Only) in favor of Sharda University, payable at Greater Noida.
The closing date for submission application is 16 December 2019. The date of PhD Entrance Test is 23 December 2019.
Selection Process: Through Entrance Test followed by an Interview.

The Entrance test will have 70 MCQ to evaluate knowledge in core subject (50) and research aptitude (20) for a total of 70 marks; Entrance test will be followed by interview for 30 marks.
Candidates with valid selection from NET / GATE / SET / UET / any other equivalent test conducted GOI accredited agency (to be decided by the selection committee) are exempted from entrance test and get preference in selection. M.Phil. degree holders from UGC accredited universities are also exempted from entrance test.
Syllabi of the core subjects are of PG level in respective disciplines / subjects.
Fellowship for Full time PhD Scholar: For NET/GATE (valid score) qualified: Rs. 25,000, Rs. 25000 and RS. 27,000 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year respectively whereas for non-NET/GATE qualified: Rs.18,000, Rs. 19,000 and Rs. 20,000 respectively.
