Durgapur: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur, an Institute of National Importance, has invited applications for PhD Programmes for Even Semester 2019-20. There are 25 PhD seats available for 12 departments under Full Time Scholarship with Institute Fellowship. The selection of PhD Admission will done via Walk-in Admission Test and Viva Voce.
PhD Admission is available under the following categories: Full-time Research Scholar with Institute Fellowship; Full-time Research Scholar with financial support from Government Programs (sponsored by DST, CSIR, UGC etc.); and Full-time Research Scholar selected in Externally Funded Sponsored Projects in the Institute.
Candidates must come up personally with application form complete in all respects along with self-attested photocopies of all the necessary documents on the day of admission test and viva voce (Jan 2, 2020 at 9:00 AM) and reach respective departments for the same. The proforma of the application form and other certificates are appended at the official notice of NIT Durgapur.
