Chemical Engineering
Eligibility (Ph.D.): First Division in M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Sc. or equivalent master’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized Technical Institute or University.
Eligibility (M.Tech.): B.E/B. Tech. Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline such as Petroleum Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Technology etc. with overall marks of at least 60%.

Civil Engineering
Eligibility (Ph.D.): First Division in M.E. / M. Tech. or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized Technical Institute or University.

Computer Science & Engineering
Eligibility (Ph.D.): ME / M.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized Technical Institute or University.
Eligibility (M.Tech.): B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology or MCA from a recognized Technical Institute or University with minimum of 60% marks.

Design Engineering
Eligibility (M.Tech.): B.E/B. Tech. Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with overall marks of at least 60%.

Eligibility (Ph.D.): ME/ M.Tech degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical /Aerospace / Automobile /Industrial Engineering/Material Science and Engineering/Nano Science and Technology/Chemical Engineering/Structures, with a minimum of 60% marks.

Chemistry
Eligibility (Ph.D.): A candidate should have a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences or M. Tech in relevant areas, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point.
Life Sciences / Bioinformatics
Eligibility (Ph.D.): A candidate should have (or expect to have by August 2018) a M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point.
Mathematics
Eligibility (Ph.D.): A Master’s Degree in Mathematics or related disciplines with overall marks of at least 60%.
Physics
Eligibility (Ph.D.): A candidate should have (or expected to have) a Master’s degree by August 2018 in the appropriate science discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks.

English
Eligibility (Ph.D.): Applicants must have a Master’s degree in any discipline, with a minimum of 55 percent if they are from the Humanities and Social Sciences and 60 percent if they are from other fields.
