Pondicherry: Pondicherry University, a Central University, has released Admission Notification for 2020-21. Admission is available in the following programmes: Post Graduate (MA, MSc, MCA, MBA, MTech, MEd, MCom, etc), Doctoral (PhD) and PG Diploma Courses.

The University will conduct Entrance Test for admission to these programmes.  The Entrance Test will be held at national levels in 36 Cities across India.

Key Dates:  The closing date for submission of online application is 17 Augusts 2020.

Scholarships:  All the full time scholars admitted to the PhD of the University Departments will be eligible for a monthly fellowship of Rs.8000/- with contingency. All students of the M.Sc. Marine Biology and Disaster Management (Port Blair) will get scholarship. In addition, Merit Scholarships & Merit cum Means Scholarships are available to deserving students of PG Degree programmes, M.Sc/ MA/ Five Year Integrated Programmes. MTech Computational Biology and MSc Biotechnology students admitted through GAT-B score are eligible for DBT Fellowship.

Selection Process:

For PG Courses (Except MBA (Part-Time), LLM & MPEd), selection will be based on Entrance Examination.

For LLM Course, selection will be based on Entrance Exam, Group Discussion, Presentation and Personal Interview.

For MPEd course, selection will be based on Entrance Examination & Physical Fitness test.

For PhD Courses, admission is based on Entrance Test/ JRF and Interview.
