New Delhi: Results of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 are officially announced by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee , today one day before the scheduled results day. As per a notification posted in the official website of GATE 2017, GATE 2017 scorecard download will be enabled shortly. IIT Roorkee mentioned that successful candidates can download the scorecard till May 5, 2017 only.

The results of GATE 2017 are available on the http://appsgate.iitr.ac.in/ , official GATE 2017 students application log in portal. The candidates can check the final results from the official website by  entering enter their enrolment number/registered mail id and other details. Earlier, as per the information brochure of GATE 2017, the results of GATE 2017 were scheduled on 27 March 2017 (Monday).

As more than 9.23 Lakh candidates have applied for the examination, during initial hours of results due to rush, the server may face problems in retrieving the results. Hence, candidates should have patience.

Gate 2017 score is valid for next three years from today. The GATE 2017 qualified candidates will be able to submit the scorecards for various higher educational and employment opportunities.

GATE  score cards will be used in facilitating admissions for higher education (MTech/PhD) in IITs, IISc and various other Institutes/ Universities/ Laboratories in India.  Also, GATE score is also being used as one of the criteria for recruitment in Government Organizations such as Cabinet Secretariat, and National/State Public Sector Undertakings in India.
