Bhopal: Indian Institutes of Science Education & Research (IISERs) has released Admission Notification for BS-MS Dual degree 2020. IISER Aptitude Test 2020 will be held on 31 May 2020. There are seven IISERs, autonomous Institutions under Ministry of HRD: Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati.

Features of BS-MS Dual Degree Program : Five-year dual degree program for science students. Fully residential campuses with well-equipped hostels.

Four-year BS program in Engineering Sciences and Economics only at IISER Bhopal.

 

Key Dates: 23 March 2020 – Application portal goes live at 11 AM (accessible via www.iiseradmission.in).

30 April  2020 – Application portal closes at 5 PM

22 May  2020 – Last date of Uploading XII Marks & Category Certificate closes at 5 PM

31 May  2020 – IISER Aptitude Test 9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon

Eligibility Conditions:  Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam with science stream in 2019 or 2020 are eligible to apply for admissions. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through following three channels.

  • Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel
  • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Advanced) of the Indian Institutes of Technology
  • State and Central Boards Channel (SCB)

These channels will be referred to as KVPY, JEE, and SCB, respectively.

The Admission Notification informed that need not wait for the class XII result. SCB application starts on 23 March 2020. Marks requirement reduced from top 1 percentile to top 20 percentile.

Computer-based aptitude test and test centres throughout India.
