New Delhi: The closing date for submission of online application for UGC-NET December 2019 Exam has been extended. National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the UGC-NET Exam, stated in a press release that the last date for submission of online application form, is extended from 09th Oct. 2019 to 15th Oct. 2019.
NTA has taken this decision as number of requests being received in this regard.
Revised Key Dates: On-line submission of Application has been extended to 15 October 2019 (up to 11.50PM).
The Successful final transaction of fee is 16 October 2019 ((through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking /UPI and PAYTM Service Up to 11.50 PM).
The date of correction in particulars in Online Application Form remains the same i.e. 18 October 2019 to 25 October 2019 (upto 11.50 p.m.).
NTA informed that in case of any query with respect to online application and fee payment, the applicants may contact the helpline at NTA Helpdesk (0120-6895200). The candidates can also use the Query Redressal System (QRS) available in the Candidate’s Login.
In UGC NET December 2028, out of registered candidates of more than 95,000 candidates, 3,883 Qualified for JRF & more than 44,000 qualified for Assistant Professor.
On behalf of UGC, the National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals ‘only for Assistant Professor’ or ‘for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor both’ in Indian Universities and Colleges.
Till recently, the CBSE conducted the UGC-NET in 84 subjects at 91 selected cities spread across the country.
From Dec 2018 onwards, the UGC-NET will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
