Hyderabad: University of Hyderabad, India’s leading central university, has released official notification for admission to various programmes for the Academic year 2017-18. Now admission to various 5-year integrated, PG, MTech, MPhil and PhD programmes are open. The online application has opened since 04 April 2017. The online application window will close on 05 May 2017.
Application fee is Rs350/ for general category candidates, Rs250/- for OBC and Rs150/- for SC/ST/PWD(PH) category candidates. The university will hold all India entrance Tests during 01 June 2017 to 05 June 2017 for admission to these above programmes. The written tests for all students will be held at 37 different centres in India.
University of Hyderabad offers PhD programmes in a host of subjects. The total number subjects offered by the university in doctoral programmes for the academic year 2017-18b is 43. As per the Admission Prospectus of AY 2017-18, the total number of seats available for PhD admission is more than 300. For PhD admission, the university broadly follows UGC Guideline for MPhil & PhD.
