Kanpur: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur has released admission notification for Research Programmes available for 2018-19 Semester –I. Applications are invited from Indian as well as foreign nationals for admission to Ph.D., M.Tech., M. Des. and MS (By Research) programmes 2018-19-I Semester (commencing from July 25, 2018) in the following departments/interdisciplinary programmes.
Students who are in final year of their programme (likely to finish the program by July 15, 2018) may also apply and secure provisional admission for the session commencing in July 25, 2018 (2018-19-I Semester).
Financial aid (Assistantship/Scholarship) may be provided to non-sponsored Ph.D., M.Tech., M. Des. and MS (By Research) students.
Those employed in an industry or a college/university/institute may apply for admission as a sponsored, external or part-time candidate.

Application Procedure: The online applications portal (for Indian Nationals only) will be available from 15/03/2018 (10:00 AM) till 04/04/2018 (05:00 PM). Indian Nationals can apply only through online mode of application. Foreign Nationals can apply only through off line mode.
Application Fee: The application fee is Rs.400 for General and OBC candidates and Rs.200 for SC/ST and all PD candidates (including General and OBC). The application fee is waived for ‘Foreign National’ candidates.
