Pondicherry: Pondicherry University, a central university accredited with A Grade by NAAC, has released official admission notification for the academic year 2018-19. The admission is open from today (21st March 2018) in the following degree programmes: Post Graduate, MBA, MTech, MCA, M.Com., M.Ed., MLIS, M.P.Ed ,MSW, M.P.A ,MSc, LLM, Doctoral (PhD), PG Diploma, etc. The closing date for online submission of application is 24th April 2018.
The Pondicherry University will conduct written tests for its programmes during 25,26 &-27th May 2018. The university will conduct written tests in 34 centres across India. The Pondicherry University informed that for PG Courses (Except LLM & M.P.Ed), selection will be based on Entrance Examination. For LLM Course, selection will be based on Entrance Exam, Group Discussion, Presentation and Personal Interview. For M.P.Ed course, selection will be based on Entrance Examination & Physical Fitness test.For Ph.D., Courses, admission is based on Entrance Test and Interview.
The university informed that all the full time scholars admitted to the PhD of the University Departments will be eligible for a monthly fellowship of Rs.8000/- with contingency. All students of the MSc Marine Biology and Disaster Management (Port Blair) will get scholarship. In addition, Merit Scholarships & Merit cum Means Scholarships are available to deserving students of PG Degree programmes, MSc/MA Five Year Integrated Programmes. Fully free education for all differently-abled students is available.
