Lucknow: The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIML) will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017, an entrance for admission t IIMs and other leading B-schools of the country. Prof Neeraj Dwivedi of IIML will be the convener of the examination.
IIM Lucknow will be conducting the test after a gap of seven years as it organized the test in 2010. CAT 2016 saw the highest number of candidates registering the test with 2,32,434 candidates applying for the entrance test to IIMs and other premier B-schools.
The CAT 2017 exam schedule is likely be announced officially at the end of July while the registrations will be open until October this year. The exam will be held in the months of November and December.
Details regarding the syllabus, new examination pattern, registration and brochure will be known once IIM Lucknow releases the official notification.
