Here’s my advice:

Get experience first before you commit. Law school is the best time to take advantage of clinics, internships, and summer positions in different areas. You will get far more insight from working in these jobs than reading any career guide ever could.

And don’t be afraid to change your mind later on. Plenty of lawyers start in one field then switch specialties later in their career. Your path is not set in stone.
