New Delhi: NTPC Ltd, India’s largest power conglomerate, is recruiting 100 Graduate Engineers under Recruitment of Engineering Executive Trainees – 2020 through GATE 2020. Under the hiring plan, NTPC will recruit Fresh Engineers in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation. The total number of posts are 100: Electrical -30 posts; Mechanical- 45; Electronics & Instrumentation -25.
Key Dates: The commencement of online submission of application at NTPC is 16 June 2020. The Last date for Online submission of Application is 06 July 2020.
The application Fee is Rs 150 for General/EWS/OBC. For other candidates the application fee is Zero.
Eligibility Conditions: Full Time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% in the relevant disciplines. Final year/semester students are also eligible to apply, subject to obtaining at least 65% marks in engineering degree.
SC ,ST and PwBD candidates with at least 55% marks in qualifying examination are eligible to apply for the post.
Selection Process: All the interested and eligible candidates must have appeared GATE 2020. Based on GATE 2020 score, the candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process (GD and Interview).
The final list will be prepared based on 85% weightage of GATE 2020 marks, 5% weightage of GD marks and 10% weightage of Interview Marks. However, the candidates has to qualify separately in GD and Interview. GATE 2020 marks will only be valid.
The selected candidates shall undergo one-year training at various places. The region of posting will be allotted upon joining and the final place of posting within the allotted region will be decided after completion of training. Candidates can be placed , across the country, in any of the functions at projects/stations or offices including subsidiary companies of NTPC.
