Mr. Girijesh Srivastava, an EFPM Scholar in Organizational Behaviour at XLRI Jamshedpur has been felicitated with the “Leading Minds in HR” Award at the PeopleFirst HR Excellence Awards 2022.

This award recognizes HR Leaders & Consultants based anywhere in the world, who are recognized as Thought leaders not just within their organization but across the HR community and Business world. It celebrates achievements of people that have made monumental contributions to both, the HR and business fraternity. This award is for people who have set challenging benchmarks for others in the HR fraternity to follow. XLRI is proud that Mr. Girijesh has made up to it and set an example for others to follow.

Girijesh is an award-winning HR leader with 15+ years of global & cross-cultural experience in enhancing people and organizational performance, thereby, impacting the business outcome. He specializes in Digital HR, Learning, OD, DE&I, Employer Branding and Employee Engagement. He has partnered with business to institutionalize 40+ new products, processes & programs across the employee life cycle playing diverse roles of Business Partner, Process Owner, Program Manager and Product Manager.  Interventions designed by him are used by Fortune 500 companies across the globe.

Earlier, Girijesh has been conferred Economic Time and TA Pai Young HR Leader Award, Apex India HR Leader Award, CEO’s Award for Excellence, Outstanding Learning Leader Award, and Best Employee Engagement Team of the Year Award.

On the thought leadership front, he is a researcher, author and speaker at management institutions such as at IIM Lucknow, SP Jain, ITM, among others. His original research in HR and intersectional areas has been accepted, presented and published in various national and international conferences.Beyond professional life, he is a lyricist and musician with 4 songs to his credit which are available on 200+ digital music platforms. He has recited Sitar at Bharat Parv and have made appearances on Bloomberg UTV, Doordarshan and Akashvani.
