Mumbai: Gujarat Forensic Sciences University , the only university across the world, dedicated to Forensic & Investigative Science, announced the admission notification for the academic year 2016-17. The university invites applications for its various institutes: Institute of Forensic Science; Institute of Behavioral Science; and Institute of Research & Development.

The Gujarat Foren­sic Sci­ences Uni­ver­sity was estab­lished by the Gov­ern­ment of Gujarat  in 2008. It became functional from February 2009 and was recognized by the University Grants Commission as a State University under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 to award degrees in May 2011.
