Hyderabad:  The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) invites applications from meritorious candidates for PG Diploma in Banking Technology (PGDBT).  PGDBT is a full-time regular one year programme. The programme will provide essential learning inputs on technology implementation, integration and management to both directly selected candidates  and practicing bankers, which will enable them to meet the changing requirements of technology  used in the Banking and Financial Sector.

Important Dates:

Last Date for submission of application – 31 May 2016 (Tuesday)

Group Discussion and Personal Interview – 14 & 15 June 2016 (Tuesday & Wednesday)

Declaration of Final results – 16 June 2016 (Thursday)

Course Commence – 4 July 2016 (Monday)

Eligibility:

The admission is open to both the Direct Candidates and Sponsored Candidates from Banks and Financial Institutions as per specified eligibility criteria.

Direct Candidates: A candidate must hold a first class (minimum of 60% marks) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a first class Master’s Degree in any subject with a minimum of 10+2+4 years of formal education. All direct candidates need to possess a valid CAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT/ATMA/GRE score at the time of submission of application form.

Sponsored Candidates: The sponsored candidates too must hold a first class (minimum of 60% marks) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a first class Master’s Degree in any subject with a minimum of 10+2+4 years of formal education. However, sponsored candidates need not have CAT scores.

Fee:  Total course fee is  Rs. 5,00,000 plus applicable taxes. The fee structure covers teaching, course material and shared-accommodation costs at the Institute’s Quarters in Begumpet, Hyderabad.  Final selected candidates will have to pay fee in three equal installments at the start of first three terms.

Campus Placements: The Institute would facilitate placement for the PGDBT students by inviting the prospective employers to the Institute. Successful students are likely to be placed in banks, financial institutions and IT companies having business interest in the Indian Banking and Financial Sector.
