IIM Ranchi successfully conducted the Valedictory Ceremony for its Five-day Management Development Programme (MDP) in Leadership and Management. The programme was specifically designed for the Principals and Vice-Principals of PM SHRI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the Patna Region.
Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director IIM Ranchi, praised the programme’s focus on implementing diverse methodologies and strategies to create a more holistic and interactive learning environment for students. Discussions during the programme underscored the immense responsibility of shaping young minds, with participants highlighting the need for patience, responsibility, and innovation in leadership. Many participants suggested expanding the programme to include teachers and school administrators to achieve a broader and more lasting impact on the education system.
Led by the Programme Directors Prof. Santosh Kumar Prushty and Prof. Krishna Kumar Dadsena, the initiative aimed to equip participants with innovative leadership strategies and advanced management techniques to enhance educational standards in their institutions. The programme’s robust curriculum addressed critical themes such as identifying and solving challenges in schools, managing brand perception, fostering a culture of innovation, leveraging AI in education, engaging community partnerships, and financial management for schools. It also explored strategies to build a shared vision for schools, strengthen the parent-student-teacher relationship, and develop a positive socio-emotional climate in residential institutions. The sessions offered participants actionable insights to apply in their respective schools, promoting meaningful change and sustainable growth.
The Valedictory Ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates, marking the culmination of an enriching and transformative learning experience. Prof. Dadsena delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all stakeholders in making the programme a success.
