Bhubaneswar : Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre, Gandhinagar in collaboration with Central Library, Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar organized One Day Awareness Programme on Research Data Management on 30th November 2024.
The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Sasidhar Kondaraju, Chairperson, Central Library, IIT Bhubaneswar. Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Sahoo, Dy. Librarian of the Institute welcomed the experts and the participants. Mr. Dinesh Ranjan Pradhan, Scientist-D(LS), INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar spoke about Research Data Management. Dr. Sambhunath Sahoo, Asst. Librarian, IIT Bhubaneswar proposed the vote of thanks. Prof. Rajesh Roshan Dash, Dean (Student Affairs) graced the valedictory session.
The programme included sessions on Research Data Management: An Overview, taken by Dr. Naresh Chandra Sahu, Associate Professor, IIT Bhubaneswar; Best Practices of Data Management Plan for Researchers – Sh. Pallab Pradhan, Scientist- C (LS), INFLIBNET Centre; Role of PID and DataCite – Sh. Pallab Pradhan, Scientist – C (LS), INFLIBNET Centre and National Research Data Repository: An Overview – Mr. Dinesh Ranjan Pradhan, Scientist-D(LS), INFLIBNET Centre. About 60 participants from different institutions in the eastern region of India attended the program.
