New Delhi: IIT Delhi will hold its 52nd Convocation on November 13th, 2021. Ms Padmasree Warrior, a distinguished alumna and Founder & CEO, Fable will be the Chief Guest at the Convocation. Ms Warrior is also Board member of Microsoft and Spotify and former CEO,
NIO U.S. and CTSO, Cisco.
Chief guest Ms Padmasree Warrior and Dr. R. Chidambaram, Chairperson, Board of Governors, IIT Delhi will address the graduating students.
Prof V. Ramgopal Rao, Director, IIT Delhi will present the Director’s report on this occasion.
At the 52nd Convocation, 2117 graduating students will be awarded their degrees.

The meritorious graduating students will be awarded the President’s Gold Medal, Director’s Gold Medal, Perfect Ten Gold Medal, the Institute Silver Medal and the awards instituted by donors.
Addressing the media on the eve of 52nd Convocation, IIT Delhi Director, Prof V. Ramgopal Rao said that Mr Anant Yardi, President and Founder of Yardi Systems, and an alumnus of IIT Delhi, has agreed to gift USD 10 million (Rs ~75 Cr) to the Institute.
Mr Yardi’s gift would enable IIT Delhi to create state-of-the art laboratories and attracttalented students and researchers to its newly established School of Artificial Intelligence (ScAI). (More details on the gift in a separate Press Release).
At the 52nd Convocation, IIT Delhi will also present coveted Alumni Awards 2021 to its esteemed alumni. The Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA) will be presented to six alumni, the Graduates of Last Decade (GOLD) Award to four alumni and the Distinguished Alumni Service Award (DASA) will be presented to one alumnus.
