National — IIT Mandi TIH and Nagent AI announced a groundbreaking hybrid upskilling program that combines academic rigor with industry-leading no-code AI tools. The initiative aims to address India’s growing AI talent gap by enabling professionals to build and deploy functional AI agents in days rather than months. The program leverages Nagent AI’s no-code platform—currently used by over 1,000 enterprise clients globally alongside IIT Mandi TIH’s expertise in human-AI interaction.
The 23-hour curriculum features a blend of online modules and in-person campus immersion at IIT Mandi TIH. With registration closing on Aug 30, 2025, the program is limited to 30 participants and offers an all-inclusive fee structure. Participants will gain hands-on experience building deployable AI agents using Nagent AI’s Playground, with direct access to 100s of cutting-edge AI Models, RAG Pipeline and tools.
“Buzzwords can bury real breakthroughs in hype, so we’re cutting straight across the substance. IIT Mandi’s Technology Innovation Hub and Nagent AI are launching India’s first no-fluff, hands-on workshop that gives working professionals a practical roadmap to agentic AI. Led by builders who speak both tech and business, this program will show how humans and intelligent agents can team up to reinvent what’s possible—today, not someday.” said Somjit Amrit, CEO of IIT Mandi TIH
India faces a projected shortfall of over 1 million AI professionals by 2027, with AI job openings expected to reach 2.3 million and demand outpacing supply by 51%. The program addresses the rising enterprise demand for rapid, ROI-driven agent deployment and helps mid-sized firms overcome in-house expertise gaps. With the no-code AI platform market set to grow from $4.9 billion in 2024 to $24.8 billion by 2029 (38.2% CAGR), the need for democratized, accessible AI solutions have never been more urgent. Unlike offerings from Google Vertex AI Agent Builder and Microsoft Copilot Studio, this hybrid program uniquely combines academic mentorship, production-grade security, and industry relevance.
“This partnership bridges the AI skill gap by empowering any professional to create and deploy powerful AI agents in days, accelerating India’s journey toward true AI democratization,” said Pratap Behera, Co-Founder & CEO of Nagent AI.
The curriculum, co-developed by IIT Mandi TIH team and Nagent AI experts, covers Agent orchestration, multi-agent collaboration, Agentic Prompting, proprietary data grounding through no code RAG Pipeline. The Capstone projects will be mentored by Pratap Behera (Co-founder & CEO of Nagent AI), Senthilraj Kalaimani (Head of R&D at Nagent AI), Siddharth Kanungo (Generative AI advisor to IIT Mandi TIH and Anmol Gupta (Founder of Mythyaverse and Gen AI Researcher at IIT Roorkee).
After successful completion of the program, participants can get enterprise projects through Nagent AI’s community or can build AI agents for their enterprises. Top projects will be considered for funding through iHub’s “Call for Innovation” pipeline (up to ₹1 crore), with industry showcase opportunities and certification.
This initiative supports India’s “AI for All” strategy by fostering a lab-to-market pipeline for AI innovation. Program outcomes will directly benefit sectors such as healthcare, supply chain, and customer experience, with a focus on rapid, real-world deployment. The program aims to compress traditional 6 to12-month AI upskilling cycles into weeks, responding to industry’s time-to-value pressures.
