Gandhinagar : In response to the growing demand for skilled professionals in data-driven industries, the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) has launched a new Certificate Program in Machine Learning for Data Analysis and Prediction. The eight-month program is designed to equip students and working professionals with advanced tools and techniques to solve real-world data challenges.
The program offers a structured and interdisciplinary curriculum that combines foundational concepts in optimization and data science with core machine learning methodologies and predictive analytics. In addition to technical training, the course integrates leadership and writing modules to enhance communication and professional skills.
According to the institute, the program will be delivered through 100% live online sessions, making it accessible to participants across the country. With a weekly commitment of approximately 6 to 7.5 hours, the flexible schedule is tailored especially for working professionals seeking to upskill without interrupting their careers.
Participants will benefit from instruction by IIT Gandhinagar faculty members and industry experts. The program follows a structured evaluation process, and successful candidates will receive an official transcript upon completion.

The certificate program is open to graduates in relevant disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Science, Economics, and Commerce. Working professionals seeking to upskill and recent graduates with a background in Mathematics (up to Grade 12) and familiarity with Statistics and Probability are encouraged to apply.
The total duration of the program is eight months. The application fee is Rs 500, registration fee is Rs 20,000, and the tuition fee is Rs1,80,000.
