New Delhi  – Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is preparing to host its 14th Convocation Ceremony on November 1, 2025. On this occasion, 780 students will be formally conferred their degrees, marking the successful completion of their academic programs.

Degrees will be conferred over a broad range of disciplines. Undergraduate students from B.Tech. courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Design, Computer Science and Social Sciences, Computer Science and Biosciences, and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence will be graduating this year. Postgraduate students will be awarded M.Tech. Master of Technology  degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, and Computational Biology. Ph.D. degrees will also be offered in some key areas of research, such as Computational Biology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Human-Centered Design, Mathematics, and Social Sciences and Humanities.

Dr. Anand Deshpande (Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of Persistent Systems) will be the Chief Guest at the ceremony and will give the Convocation Address, sharing his rich insights and words of motivation with the graduating students as they set out on their professional careers. The ceremony will also be graced by Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and Chancellor of IIIT-Delhi, Prof. Ranjan Bose, Director of IIIT-Delhi, and Prof. Rajesh Srivastava, Chairperson of the Board of Governors, and faculty, staff, and their families of graduating students.

Apart from the distribution of degrees, the institute will also honor the outstanding performances of its students with different awards. These awards are the Chancellor’s Gold Medal, Institute Silver Medals, All-Round Performance Medals, Best BTP (Bachelor’s Thesis Project) Awards, the Gold Medal for Excellence in M.Tech., Best M.Tech. Thesis Award, and Ph.D. Dissertation Awards. These accolades highlight the perseverance, ability, and academic excellence exhibited by the graduating batch.

Through this convocation, the institute is very proud to celebrate the achievements of its students and continues to work to prepare them as leaders and agents of change in technology, science, and society.
