New Delhi: Internshala, the internship and training platform has launched the second edition of ‘Internshala Graphic Design Contest’ in association with PUMA, the world’s leading sports brand for students who wish to advance their careers in the field of graphic designing. In the last edition, over 1500 students participated, and 2 students were hired as summer interns by PUMA.
Designing has taken over the world and every industry requires it in some form or the other. From the websites and magazines to Facebook ads and billboards – it is everywhere. The organisations are vying to hire the best designers who can create ‘out-of-the-box’ campaigns and market their products through minimalist designs. The design is one of the essential areas for organisations as it helps them create a better brand presence and improve the UX for the customers. PUMA, which has a great reputation for design experimentation is based in Bangalore in India. It operates as a subsidiary of PUMA and a manufacturer and distributor of sports products in India.
On the launch of this contest, Sarvesh Agrawal, the founder & CEO of Internshala said, “On Internshala, 5% of the total internships were in the field of design in 2017 which tells us why graphic design is one of the most in-demand skills in India. The contest is open to all students currently enrolled in a recognized Indian college or university irrespective of their field of their field of education. The top 10 performers of the contest will be interviewed for summer 2018 internship at PUMA Sports. The winner declared after 3 rounds of the interview process will land an internship with PUMA with a monthly stipend of INR 20,000 and will also get PUMA merchandise worth INR 5,000.
