BENGALURU, India — JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), through its Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET), has officially opened applications for the JAIN Entrance Test (JET) 2026, marking the beginning of the admission cycle for its Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes. Renowned for their industry-aligned curriculum, strong research orientation and experiential learning framework, these programmes are designed to prepare students for the evolving demands of the global engineering landscape.
JET 2026 will be conducted as a remotely proctored online examination, enabling aspiring engineers from across the country to appear for the test from the comfort of their homes. This flexible and secure assessment format ensures wider access while maintaining high academic standards.
The JET 2026 examination is scheduled for early April 2026 and will be held across multiple slots on 9 and 10 April 2026. On both days, candidates may choose between a morning slot or an afternoon slot. The list of qualified candidates will be announced on 11 April 2026 at 4:00 PM.
In line with its commitment to recognising merit and promoting inclusive education, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) has reserved 15 per cent of the total intake under the Scholarship (SCR) category. High-performing students in national-level entrance examinations such as JEE Main, KCET, COMEDK or EAMCET may be exempted from the JET written test and considered directly for the SCR interview and counselling process, subject to their rank and percentile. Top scorers in JET 2026 will be eligible for a 25 per cent scholarship in the first year of study. Additionally, students from Defence and SC/ST categories are eligible for a 10 per cent scholarship applicable across all four years of the programme, while sports scholarships are available for candidates who have demonstrated excellence at recognised competitive levels.
Following the announcement of results on 11 April 2026, SCR and merit-based counselling will be conducted. The final date for admission confirmation has been set as 25 April 2026.
