New Delhi: The Faculty of Management Studies at Marwadi University, in collaboration with Shri Ramakrishna Ashram, Rajkot, is proud to announce the successful completion of the International Youth Convention (IYC) 2023. This convention taking inspiration from India’s year-long G20 Presidency under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, was themed on the profound idea of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (One Earth – One Family – One Future).
IYC 2023 is a unique opportunity to harness the collective energy, diverse talents, and immense potential of both Indian and international students to contribute towards the noble G20 Goal. The convention’s objectives included engaging the MU Students Community on global issues, facilitating their involvement in achieving the G20 Goal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, showcasing cultural diversity, and raising awareness about tourism, business, and employment opportunities in their respective countries. IYC 2023 celebrates India’s leadership in addressing critical issues in areas of green energy, pandemic preparedness and fostering international collaboration solidifying its standing as a key player in global affairs.
Distinguished speakers and guests included Mr Fanuel Mathiya, Minister Plenipotentiary (Trade Affairs), High Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania, New Delhi, Shri Swami Atmapriyananda, Pro-Chancellor of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Dr. Ramaswami Balasubramaniam, Member-HR in the Capacity Building Commission of the Government of India, and Swami Nikhileshwaranandaji, Adhyakshya of Ramkrishna Ashram, Rajkot.
The convention also included a Round Table Discussion on the Role of Youth in achieving the goal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The convention also showcased an International Ethnic Food Fest, National Information Bureaus showcasing opportunities abroad, and an Ethnic Fashion Show featuring participants from different countries.

IYC 2023 is a visionary initiative powered by FMS Students’ Council, aligning with the ideals of inclusiveness, initiative, ingenuity, and experiential learning as outlined in the National Educational Policy 2020.
