New Delhi, 09 September 2021: Ministry of Education, Government of India, will release its sixth annual ranking, National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) today. India will get to know its top universities, best MBA Schools, top medical colleges, and top engineering colleges among others.
The list will declare best higher education institutes in the following categories:
- Overall
- University
- Engineering
- Management
- Pharmacy
- College
- College
- Medical
- Law
- Architecture
- Dental
Minister of Education Mr Dharmendra Pradhan will release the rankings online today. Students seeking admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate colleges will get to know.
The rankings will be released online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
NIRF 2020 Highlights: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore was crowned as the Best University while Miranda House has retained the Top College spot.
Among Business Schools, Indian Institute of Management climbed up to top spot while IIM Bangalore secured 2nd position.
In overall category, IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore and IIT Delhi have been placed at 1, 2 and 3rd place. In the Engineering colleges, IITs sweeps the top honors: IIT Madras, IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, all these three retained their places.
