LUMAMI, NAGALAND : Nagaland University, the only Central University in the State, has invited applications for admission to its Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) in Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) for the 2026-27 academic session through CUET-UG 2026.
The admissions will be conducted by the University’s Multi-Disciplinary Research Centre (MDRC) in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework.
The Undergraduate programme offers students the flexibility to pursue Honours and Honours with Research programmes in five science disciplines—Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology.
Admissions will be granted strictly on merit based on candidates’ CUET-UG scores and Class XII examination performance, as per the eligibility criteria prescribed by the respective academic departments.

The online application process will remain open from 1 July to 15 July 2026. The University will publish the list of shortlisted candidates on 16th July 2026, while admissions for selected candidates will be conducted from 17th July to 20th July 2026. Admissions from the waiting list are scheduled from 21st July to 23rd July 2026.
Applicants are required to submit a recent passport-size photograph and signature, Class X admit card and marksheet, Class XII admit card and marksheet, CUET scorecard, transfer certificate, and other applicable documents such as caste, disability, backward tribe, or gap certificates, wherever relevant.
Seat allocation will be carried out in accordance with the norms and reservation guidelines of Nagaland University under categories including Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Sports Quota, Employees’ Quota, and Unreserved (UR).
Nagaland University said students admitted to the programme will have access to well-equipped laboratories, digital library resources, Wi-Fi-enabled campus facilities, e-learning support, sports infrastructure, career counselling and placement assistance, as well as on-campus cafeteria and health centre facilities.
