VARANASI: Geology Department of Banaras Hindu University has been producing outstanding geologists for decades who serve various institutions across the country in different capacities. The department has added another feather in its cap with its nine students getting selected for Assistant Professors (Geology) through the Bihar Public Service Commission. Congratulating the successful students, Prof. Arun Deo Singh, Head, Department of Geology, Institute of Science, said that the department fraternity is filled with pride and joy with the shining success of students. He informed that five of the successful students are currently pursuing their doctoral research from the department.
