Mumbai: NMIMS Mumbai, one of the Top B-schools of the country, completed the Summer Placements for the students of Flagship MBA Core & MBA HR 2016-18 batch. The institute informed through a press statement that a total of 605 students were selected by 184 companies & were placed in a record time.
The average stipend rose to INR 1,02,000 up by 20.7% compared to that of last year while the average of top 100 students stood at INR 1,81,474. The highest stipend was INR 3,00,000, up by 50% from the highest stipend last year.
Offers were made to the students of Flagship MBA Core Program by loyal recruiters such as Abbott, Agrotech, Asian Paints, Arcesium, Bain Capability Center, Britannia, Capgemini, Castrol, Cognizant Business Consulting, CRISIL, Deloitte, DE Shaw, DBS Bank, Dabur, General Electric, Goldman Sachs, Google, Henkel, Hero Motocorp, HUL, HT Media, IBM, ICICI Group, Idea Cellular, ITC, JLT, JP Morgan, KPMG, L&T, Mahindra & Mahindra, Marico, Maersk, Microsoft, Nivea, Nomura, Pidilite, Perfetti Van Mille, PwC, RBL, RIL, Shopclues, Titan, UB Group, Vodafone, Whirlpool, Wipro and several others.
The average for the MBA HR Program stood at INR 77,230 & the highest at INR 1,60,000 where in marquee names like Akzonobel, Arcesium, Bharti Axa, Cummins, Deloitte, Hero Motocorp, Genpact, Honeywell, IBM, ICICI Bank, Idea, JLT, L&T, Lava, Marsh Insurance, Mercer, Pernod Ricard, Pidilite, Piramal, Puma, Raymond, Salto Dee Fe, Siemens, Whirlpool, Wipro participated.
With about 42% of the batch (248 students) getting recognized through PPO’s/PPI’s for their exceptional performance during summer internships 2016 & various competitions, it is expected that this count will surpass in the coming season.
