On completion of his tenure, Prof Rakesh Bhatnagar, VC BHU has relinquished the post of Vice Chancellor. As per provision of the BHU Act, Rector of the University Prof Vijay Kumar Shukla, shall perform the functions of the office of the VC BHU.
